a missed exam may be re-scheduled only if it is due to circumstances out of
your control, and you need to provide a valid written excuse (such as a
statement from your doctor).
2)
University/Dept policy: Under no circumstances should a student be allowed to
do “extra work” in order to improve his/her grade unless every member of the
class is given the same opportunity. Follow this link for University of
policies: http://www.uwm.edu/Dept/SecU/policies.html
3)
Monday, 2/18 is the last day to drop without a "W" on record and
Friday 3/14 is the last day to drop.
4)
If you are a student with a disability, please feel free to contact me early in
the semester for any help you may need.
Grading Policy: The four exams will be
100 points each, the final will be 200 points, and the maximum total score is 600
points. Your final grade will be assigned according to your percentage out of
these 600 points as follows: A, 540 (90%); A-, 510 (85%); B+, 480 (80%);
