Syllabus: We work through the following chapters of the textbook

• Chapter 6: Applications of Integration (6.4 optional)
• Chapter 7: Inverse Functions (only 7.7)
• Chapter 8: Techniques of Integration (8.6, 8.7 optional)
• Chapter 9: Further Applications of Integration (only 9.1)
• Chapter 11: Parametric Equations and Polar Coordinates (not 11.5, 11.6)
• Chapter 12: Infinite Sequences and Series (12.11, 12.12 optional)

Grading policy: The grade will be determined by 3 homework quizzes worth 20 points each and three written in class exams (including the final exam) worth 60 points each:

• First test: Wednesday, October 12, 2005, 4:00-5:50
• Second test: Wednesday, November 16, 2005, 4:00-5:50
• Final examination: Wednesday, December 21, 2005, 3:00-5:00

200 points or more should lead to A, A-, 160 to 200 points is the B range and 120 to 160 points is the C range but there is room for negotations.
