Physical Computing & Interactivity

Assistant or Associate Professor position for an artist whose skills and artwork relate to physical computing, media interactivity, scripting/ programming and electronics to contribute courses & research in areas such as installation, performance, internet art, gaming, robotics, sensor-based technology, human machine interface and internet resources. Start Fall 2007.

Film/Video/New Genre

Associate or Full Professor tenured position for an artist with a distinguished international and national exhibition record and experience in developing curricula in digital media and new genres. An MFA or PhD degree plus 7 years of teaching experience is required. Start fall 2007.

Conceptual Studies

Assistant Professor for teaching diverse range of courses in film/media aesthetics, vision and visuality, film and the other arts, film genres ,emergent genres, media literacy and experimental writing. A desire to explore new directions in the analysis of cinema history and theory as well as the ability to integrate digital media tools in the classroom are essential qualifications.

Audio Arts

Assistant or Associate Professor position for an audio artist whose skills and work revolve around actives such as field and location recording, post-production sound, installation art, sound art-composition, performance/ actions and web-based artworks.

Motion Graphics & Animation

Assistant or Associate Professor position for an artist whose skills and artwork revolve aound motion graphics to contribute courses & research in 2/3D animation, scripting/programming, digital environments, compositing and effects

Photography

Assistant or Associate Professor position for an artiist with a strong portfolio of creative accomplishment working the the field of photographic arts to participate in developing and implementing new curricula in digital media and new genres. Expertise in digital and traditional photography for undergraduate and graduate courses is preferred.
