About Accelerated Learning...

Taking classes in an accelerated format isn't something to be taken lightly. For Written or Oral/Interpersonal Communication, instead of 3 hours per week for fifteen weeks, we meet 4 hours a week for 6 weeks. This means we have less time to cover the course material and complete all competencies. Not an easy task.

However, accelerated learning can be very effective if performed correctly. You can help yourself learn more quickly by knowing your own learning style. Knowing what works best for you will help make your studying and class time full of high-quality learning experiences.

Click on the menu at the left to learn more about benefits of accelerated learning, different theories on how we learn, research on brain and learning theory, the SAVI approach to learning, and the four phases of accelerated learning.
