Search the Rodmaker's Archives

How to search:

1. Enter the word or words you want to search for. If you leave this blank, it will find all messages starting at the specified date.
2. Indicate whether you want to search the Subject, the Author, or the Text of the message. (The Text includes the Subject and Author.) Searching the Text of the messages is very slow and will probably generate more "hits" than you really want. A text search won't do more than year at a time. Expect it to take several minutes.
3. For a Subject search, indicate whether you want an Exact match to the word or phrase, a match to All of the words in some order, or a match to Any of the words. Author and text searches are for exact words or phrases only. Capitalization is ignored.
4. If possible, restrict the dates of your search. If your search generates too many "hits", it will stop after the first 100 or so.
5. Sorry, I took away the option to search rod tapers. It was too much hassle to separate the taper posts from the others. If somebody figures out a way to do this automatically, let me know.
