This is the "front page" of the Hexrod program. Here you can begin to input data about a rod, or retreive data you saved last time. You can also import a rod taper file from Wayne Cattanach's Hexrod program for windows, or explore links for more information.

Retrieve rod data
from a file

If you previously saved a rod design, retrieve it here:

ROD ID:
"Import" a taper file made by Wayne Cattanach's Windows version of Hexrod. Taper files usually end with the ".tpr" extension. Enter the complete path and name of the file to be imported. On the next screen, you will be asked for the actual rod length and ferrule type (truncated or standard). See the additional documentation.
