196 eggs this year! That's an average of about 16 a month.
35 eggs were eaten at The Hutch, a diner in West Allis, Wisconsin. 26 eggs were eaten at Pauline's, a breakfast/lunch eatery in Chicago, Illinois. I highly recommend both venues. E-mail me for directions to each.

August was the high daily average, almost 1 egg a day! This was primarily due to the fact that I was on the road for most of the month. May's second place was also due to a mini road-trip up to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Although it is not borne out in any of the published charts, my desire for poached eggs began on May 13.

Over-easy dominates for the second year in a row. The poor showing of be-bim-bop (which is, technically speaking, just another fried egg) is a function of not finding a good Korean eatery here in Milwaukee. I lived in Evanston, IL from 1989-1998 and have enjoyed many - almost a weekly - be-bim-bop meal at one of the many fine eateries run by Koreans. The best being The Evanston Grill.
