I am the third-generation
newspaper reporter in my family. However, I am committed to pioneering
approaches
to delivering
the news.
I am the editor and founder of
UW-Milwaukee's national award-winning online newspaper,
Frontpage
Milwaukee. Student coursework on FPM was
named the best college in-depth online reporting in the
country by the Society of Professional Journalists in
2008. I am the founder and advisor of the Minority
Media Association of UWM (MMA).. |

Frontpage Milwaukee students were awarded 4 Milwaukee Press
Club awards this
month (April, 2009). They swept the best college news story in the state
category and won a first place award for innovation in the media and a
second place award in column writing.
