Text: Essential Calculus by James Stewart

Topics: Vectors and Geometry of Space; Partial Derivatives; Multiple Integrals; Vector Calculus.  We will be using the software package Maple in this course.

Material to be covered:
Chapters 10, 11, 12. Chapter 13 sections 1-4

Students are to obtain course information and homework from the class web pages. Students are expected to check the web page frequently for updates.

Course Grade: There will be four exams and a final comprehensive exam. The lowest of the four exam grades will be dropped. Each remaining exam is 25% of the course grade. The final exam is 25% of the course grade. Makeup exam given only if more than one exam has been misssed with sufficient documentation for each missed exam.

Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in Math 232. 

Drop Dates: Last date to change to/from audit is February 4; last day to drop is March 14, and last day to drop without a `w' grade is February 18. Students should check these dates online.

Exam Dates: Exam I Monday February 11; Exam II Wednesday March 5; Exam III Wednesday April 9; Exam IV Monday May 5

Final Exam Date: Tuesday May 13; 12:30 - 2:30 LUB N 110
