Description: a set of 11 simulations of various topics in biology: Cystic Fibrosis, Active Transport, Life Span and Lifestyle, Evolution of the Heart, Diet and Weight Loss, Synaptic Transmission, Drug Addiction, Hormone Action, Immune Response, Heredi ty in Families and Pollution of a Freshwater Lake. Each topic includes a simulation (or in the case of "Heredity in Families," an interactive quiz) in which the student can adjust variables to examine their effort on the overall system. Topics also incl ude selected photos and graphics, recommended readings and a glossary.
