Chaos and Fractals

Questions? Comments? Trouble downloading files? Contact Prof. Richard O'Malley: omalley@uwm.edu

The Chaos and Fractals visualization software consists of two components (click on the links to download):
  1. The software modules. These modules are DOS programs developed by Richard O'Malley and B. Douglas Ward. The programs are designed to run inside a MS DOS window under Windows. They can also run on Macintosh computers if a Windows emulator is used (such as Virtual PC). The software modules consist of several files together in a zip file. The zip file also contains a "Readme" file with installation instructions.
  2. Curriculum materials. These consist of three sample lesson plans and associated commentaries. The format of the files is MS Word. The software modules have been used to support a one-semester seminar course in Chaos and Fractals at UW-Milwaukee. If additional information is needed, please contact Prof. O'Malley.
If you use the software modules or curriculum in any form, please send us feedback. We're always interested in modifying and adding software and curriculum components.
