Air Pollution Meteorology

This course explores the meteorological aspects of air pollutions. Topics include major pollutant sources and sinks, visibility, stability, Reynolds averaging, turbulence and wind profiles. The course also presents the basics of atmospheric diffusion, including plume modeling and the design of air quality monitoring networks.
