RESEARCH STRICKLER LAB DAPHNIA	The last week of the former millennium and the first week of the new one Yuji Tanaka and J. Rudi Strickler spent in Strickler's laboratory testing the hypotheses of Fryer. Here is one of the results: The dye did not go through the "sieve". These pictures are cut-outs from video recordings. They are taken at intervals of 33 msec. The animations are slowed down by a factor of twenty. The dye is fluoresceine ejected from a micro-pipette and illuminated by an Argon laser at 300 mW.
