In a flush of early enthusiasm over the untrammeled expanse of virtual real estate that was the web circa 1994, I put up a whole mess of stuff and (mostly) nonsense, replete with links to now-long-dead sites, injokes and references to episodes of then-current TV shows and ads.... My initial fascination with uploading my every last thought quickly diminished, and so my site sat, its links losing functionality like atrophying limbs.

The only portion of my site that retained any currency was my CD review area, The Architectural Dance Society. I've finally gotten around to making that the main portion of the site and relegating nearly everything else to a handful of internal links from this page. So...

• Two Scott Miller-related links: a collaborative effort to provide annotations to Scott's Joycean notes to Game Theory's Real Nighttime album, and an updated version of a somewhat suspiciously exaggerated biography originally intended as part of the promotion for The Loud Family's Interbabe Concern
• The five (?) best (?) album releases (?) ever...
• The American Presidency since the late 1950s...in an alternative universe.
• Three good reasons my graduate school career never took off: an essay about perspective in art, another about avant-garde film and Public Enemy (?!), and a third about Thomas Pynchon.
• Four nonsensical, photocopy-based cartoons, one cartoon based on one that ran in The Daily Cardinal at Madison in the mid-eighties, and an enigmatic image.
• A slightly altered (to protect the sender's identity) but otherwise actual letter received in the mid-eighties at a state agency...
