In 1979 and in 1982 I was awarded certificates of appreciation from the University of Wisconsin‑Milwaukee chapter of Psi Chi, The National Honor Society in Psychology, for my work as faculty advisor.

 

In 1990 I received the annual outstanding individual award from Parent Care, International.

 

In 1997 I received a recognition award from the Wisconsin Association for Perinatal Care.

           

In 1998 I received recognition for the award-winning abstract at the annual meeting of the National Perinatal Association.

 

In 2001 I was named a Fellow in Division 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology) of the American Psychological Association.
