Hello, fellow workshoppers.
Update, March 13th: I've reframed my argument in section I, so earlier drafts are now quite obsolete -- sorry about that! From now on I'll try not to change any of the basic moves but merely develop them better.
Update, March 21st: I now almost have a continuous draft through section VI. There are a few pages still to be written in the new section IV. And even through I've deleted the old section IV, the paper is still far too long.
Would it be okay if I said: let's just make sections I through IV the workshop paper? There's plenty to discuss there, and it's all (more or less, in some way or other) about narrative. I'll finish up section IV this weekend.
Update, March 24th: Okay, I'm now posting a draft that makes a continuous argument through section VI. But sections I through IV (that is, to page 41) will be plenty for the workshop. That's all completely new material, most of it written in the past two weeks. I need lots of help with it!
Here is the current draft (as of March 25th; I fixed some typos and other infelicities in yesterday's draft).
Cheers, Ted H.
