K-theory and intersection theory for noncommutative spaces

Chris Pappacena
Baylor University

Abstract

In this talk we will discuss extending some of the basic results of the algebraic K-theory of schemes to the setting of noncommutative algebraic geometry, focusing on those results that have applications to intersection theory. In particular, we will talk about noncommutative extensions of the Brown-Gersten-Quillen spectral sequence and its consequences.
