  1. Due: January 27, 2005: Read the State of Wisconsin Model Academic Standards in Probability and Statistics and the description of Pre-Professional Skills Test in mathematics. You can find links to these documents on the course homepage. Read Chapter 1 of TCGtS.
  2. Due: February 1, 2005: Read Chapter 2 of TCGtS. Find similar information in another statistics book and read it. Be prepared to ask questions in class.
  3. Due: February 3, 2005: Read Chapter 11, pages 187 - 192, of TCGtS. Read information about median-median lines. Read article about computing least squares lines handed out in class.
  4. Due: February 8, 2005: Read Chapter 11, pages 193 - 198, of TCGtS.
  5. Due: February 10, 2005: Read Chapter 3 of TCGtS. We will discuss this material on February 10 and February 15. Read the allied material in the handout from class on 2/10, or some other material, by 2/15.
  6. Due: February 17, 2005: Read Chapter 4 of TCGtS. We will discuss this material on February 17 and February 22. This may be pushed a meeting later if Mr. Kranendonk will be joining us on 2/17. Read allied material from your other sources.
