Math 231 Mechanics, Spring 2007
- Homework will be collected at the beginning
of every class meeting, beginning with the second class meeting. It will count
roughly 20 percent of
of your grade. If it is sloppy, disorganized or the problem is not
stated, the problem will be scored 0. All graphs are to be on graph paper.
If this is not done, again a score of 0. Graph paper is available online at
here or
here .
Your homework will be graded, not just spot checked or a grade recorded based
on that you turned something in. An occasional late assignment will be
tolerated. Habitually late homework will earn a grade of zero.
Homework solutions will be posted eventually.
- Information on Exams
- Other issues. If you have anything related to the course or not that you
would like to discuss with me, please do so. I serve as the Assistant Chair
Person for the department for student assistance, so if I can't help you, I
probably know who can. If you are uncomfortable with speaking to me directly
about course issues, you may contact the course coordinator, Professor Donald
Solomon.
