Math 221/222, Section 001 Objectives, 2008-2009 Academic Year

Math 221/222 is a two semester sequence of courses in calculus. The goal of this year-long sequence of courses is to introduce students to differential and integral calculus of functions of one and several variables. Major topics in the first semester include

I will post lecture notes for the course. These are the primary source of information for the course. You should also have available some standard calculus book. If you have not already acquired such a book, ask me for a suggestion. The text used for Math 231, Essential Calculus by James Stewart will suffice.
