Course Goals: The Earth is a dynamic and exciting place. In this course, you will learn about the origin, structure, composition, evolution, and dynamic processes of the Earth. You will also be encouraged to learn about how geologists think and how scientific ideas progress. A basic knowledge of geology is necessary for citizens to make informed choices about how they interact with their local, national, or global environment.
