Grade of C or better in Math 231.

Grading
- Two tests: 40 %. Test 1: 20 % on Feb. 14, 2005. Test 2: 20 % on
March 14, 2005.
- Five Quizzes: 25 %. 5 % per quiz. A quiz date is announced one week early.
- Attendance: 5 %. 1 % reduction for one class missing.
- Final Exam: 30 % at 10:00 - 12:00 Noon, on May 17, 2005.
- Grading scale: A (93-100), A- (90-92), B+ (87-89), B (83-89), B- (80-82),
C (70-79), D (60-69), F (below 59)

Rules
Books, notes, and graphic calculators/computers are NOT allowed to be used for
all tests.
No makeup for tests and quizzes except those that are missed because of a
religious observance, illnesses (with a doctor office letter), or when called to
active military duty service.
