Biosketch
I am a first year clinical psychology PhD student interested in expanding the scientific understanding of OCD and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders such as tic disorders, Trichotillomania, and body focused repetitive behaviors. My current research includes an investigation of the phenomenology, functional impact, and treatment utilization in children and adults with Trichotillomania or chronic skin picking using internet survey methods. I am especially interested in examining the role that substance use and abuse may play in the functional impact of these disorders.
