6-8 large raw potatoes
2 onions
20 anchovy slices (200 g.)
1 1/4 c. cream or milk
breadcrumbs
1-2 T. margarine or butter
Slice
onions and cut the potatoes into thin strips (julienned?). Place potatoes in
cold water until ready to use so they don't discolor. Grease a 9x13 baking pan.
Evenly distribute potatoes and onions in the pan, evenly distributing the
anchovies also. Pour half the cream over the pan. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Dot
with butter. Bake in the middle of the oven at 400°F
about 45 min. or until the potatoes are cooked. Add the rest of the cream
towards the end of the baking time.
