My official title is systems programmer and I used to write programs for our DEC alpha systems, but now I mostly do systems administration for accounts and email lists, and do consulting with collegues Bruno Wolff III and Joe Pascoe, and the student helpdesk staff. Some of my projects include managing mail reflectors and listservs , setting up user (ePanther) accounts with the newuser program which you can get to via the newuser link. I also troubleshoot various other things mainly related to using the Alpha computers.
If you are looking at my page because you're a unix wizard wannabe, take a look at the Loginataka.
If you have questions about computing that you think you'd ask me about, I'd like to urge you instead to send mail to help@uwm.edu because someone else on the I&MT helpdesk may have a better answer sooner than waiting for me, or I may answer it anyway. But you'll get better service this way.
