What is a Listserv?

A listserv is an electronic mailing list where individuals with a common interest can exchange messages, share information, post announcements, discuss ideas, etc. To submit anything to a listserv you need to be a subscriber. Once you are a subscriber all you do is send an e-mail to the list. E-mail messages sent to the listserv go to all of the subscribers (in our case that's all of the class members.)

We will use our class listserv to make reports on current events, identify internal controls we see in the world around us, ask questions about the class, give homework clarifications, post grades, share an occasional joke, etc.

You will receive the messages that are posted in your e-mail, or you can see all the messages that have been posted for the semester on the class homepage behind the Listserv button.
