     A Power Point presentation on relational databases.

Networking

      Power Point presentation on networking including a description 
      of UWM's network from a lab in the SBA building out.

Fraud

     A Power Point presentation based on fraud surveys conducted by
     KPMG Peat Marwick, LLP, and the Association of Certified Fruad
     Examiners.

Power Point Help

The information on this page is in Microsoft Powerpoint format. Thus, you will need to have access to Powerpoint in some method to view this information. To learn how to link Powerpoint as an external viewer with Netscape, click here. If the computer you are currently using does not have Microsoft Powerpoint, click here to learn how to save the presentation and view it on another computer. Saving Powerpoint files from Netscape

If you do not have Powerpoint on your computer, and you select a Powerpoint presentation from within Netscape, you can choose to save the file and view it at a later date, time. Follow these steps:

Click on the link for the presentation.
Netscape will display an "Unknown File Type" window.
Select Save File
Netscape will now display the "Save As" window.
Choose a location (hard disk or floppy diskette) for the presentation file and select it in the "Save as window").
Netscape will now begin saving the file.
Once the file is saved, use Powerpoint as normal to view the file.

Printing files from Powerpoint

Printing from Powerpoint can be tricky because there are several methods in which you can print the Powerpoint presentation. The options are:

1 slide per page
Notes printout (slide on top of page, blank area on bottom of page)
2 slides per page
3 slides per page
6 slides per page
Outline view (no slides, looks like a standard outline)

I SUGGEST USING 6 SLIDES PER PAGE TO SAVE PAPER To print your Powerpoint presentation in any of these methods, do the following:

From the File Menu select Print
A Print Options box will appear
In the option Print What select one of the methods listed above
The rest of the options can usually remain unchanged; however, you may want to choose pure black and white which usually produces better slides
Click on the Print button
