Aquatic Life & Water Quality Exchange

Middle and high school students explore their local freshwater and marine ecosystems in Chile and other parts of the world. Applying basic scientific tools students explore the ecology of urban lakes, fjords, wetlands and coastal waters and monitor the water quality of these sites. We invite students from other parts of the world with the possibility to work on the ecology of their own water bodies to share data and experiences on the internet.

Objectives:
OBJECTIVE:to develop a positive attitude toward the environment and the value of water as an essential element to life. OUTCOME: students will learn and develop skills to understand their aquatic ecosystems and will get involved more actively in the care of their environment.
