Supporting the Early Recognition of Developmental Disabilities

What are we studying?

With the help families like you, we hope to examine early developmental and neuropsychological indicators of brain development in developmental disabilities.

What does the study require?

We will ask you to fill out some questionnaires about your child’s current behavior and participate in a structured interview that assesses childhood history for deficits in communication and social interaction and the presence of repetitive behaviors or interest.  Your child will be asked to take part in developmental, neuropsychological, and a standardized play like assessments.

How does this study benefit you?

In addition to helping us better understand developmental disabilities, we will provide you with a summary of the developmental assessments done that may help with educational planning. ALSO, if requested, we will provide a diagnostic assessment and feedback meeting free of charge.
