Principal Investigator, UW-System Institute on Race and Ethnicity:  Campus-Based Reading Seminar On Racial/Ethnic   Topics.  Reading Seminar Proposal, funded December 18, 2003.

Co-principal investigator, “VIVA! Vital Issues In Virtual Assemblies.”  State-wide proposal for three-year Catalyst grant submitted to the U.S. Department of Education, Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology (PT3).  Submitted by the University of Wisconsin-System (Dr. Dana Nelson, PI), UW-Oshkosh (Dr. Carmen Coballes-Vega, co-PI), and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (Dr. Karen Viechnicki, co-PI), Funded:  July 1, 2001 – June 30, 2004.

Co-principal investigator, "Interdisciplinary Preservice Preparation for Personnel Serving Preschool/Primary Children and Families in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Urban Settings."   Interdisciplinary proposal for improving the preparation of personnel to serve children with high-incidence disabilities, submitted to the US Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, 5/1/98.  Funded 12/1/98 – 11/30/01.
