Some introductory material
The Final Exam will be on Saturday, May 15, from 12:30-2:30 pm.
It will be comprehensive, covering all the material we have done
this semester. There will be several problems on the material from
Chapter 9 (vectors and polar co-ordinates). You will be able to use
MAPLE on the exam.

Many of these questions have answers in the back of the book; to
get points on any of the assigned problems, you need to show me
the steps and show your work. Don't just write down an answer.
NOTE: You many turn in the two problems from Section 7.4 on
Wednesday, March 3 if you prefer. You should be able to do the
problems by Monday, and the advantage is that I will try to get the
graded homework back to you on Wednesday. But there is no penalty
for turning Section 4 problems in on Wednesday.

The first Gateway Exam on applications of integration will be at the start of class, Friday, February 20. No computers, calculators, or notes are allowed on gateway exams.
