317 Health Assessment. 4 cr. U. Techniques of health history and physical examination to ascertain normal from variations of normal health conditions, in addition cultural and developmental variations are considered. Prereq: admis to Collaborative Degree Prog or cons instr.
341 Theoretical Foundations of Nursing. 4 cr. U. Concepts and theories pertinent to professional nursing practice are developed and historical, legal, cultural, economic, and social factors that influence nursing and health care are analyzed. Prereq: admis to Collaborative Degree Prog or cons instr.
365 Current Topics of Nursing: (Subtitled). 1-6 cr. U. Current thought, issues and research in nursing and implications for practice. May be retaken with change in topic to max of 12 cr. Prereq: jr st or cons instr.
434 Nursing Research. 3 cr. U. Prepares nurses to identify and critque research and to evaluate the readiness of research as a basis for nursing practice. Prereq: admis to Collaborative Degree Prog or cons instr.
437 Nursing Management and Leadership. 4 cr. U. Examine nursing leadership and management using relevant theories and concepts. Analyze decision making in relation to delegation, supervision, and group process. Prereq: admis to Collaborative Degree Prog or cons instr.
