College of Letters and Science Faculty Document No. 714 Recommendation of the Center for Jewish Studies and the L&S Academic Policies and Curriculum Committee to Create a Jewish Curricular Area
Recommendation: That the L&S Faculty recommend to the Dean approval of the Jewish Studies curricular area. Rationale: Interest in Jewish Studies has grown considerably over the past eight years, both on campus and in the community. With the help of our community partners, we are able to offer students internship opportunities in Jewish Studies. In addition, the Center for Jewish Studies has received a grant from the Bader Foundation to support the development of the Jewish Studies curriculum.
