Bruce Horner gave a brief description of the changes and answered questions by the Committee. The motion was approved unanimously, contingent upon clarifying that the 10 credits of specifically required 700 level courses are part of the total 15 credits students must take at that level.
Connie Jo announced that a proposal would be forthcoming from the Committee on Committees to merge the GPC with the Academic Policies and Appeals Committee and the Course and Curriculum Committee. For many years there have been too few Faculty members expressing a willingness to serve on L&S Committees to fill all the vacancies. The Committee on Committees hopes that combining committees will make it easier to staff those committees.
- Adjournment - The meeting was adjourned at 11:08 a.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Connie Jo
