Procedural Issues

Kristine Ruggiero was elected unanimously as Committee Co-Chair for the 2001-2002 academic year.

Committee members agreed to review program change forms on-line. Any member who has a concern about any of the items should bring a copy of the document to the meeting.

The Committee approved leaving the wording of the Charter as it now stands.

The Committee will invite coordinators from all certificate programs implemented by Fall 2000 to attend a meeting of the Committee to discuss the status of their programs.

Other Business

The Committee reviewed the Graduate School's request for nominations for graduate committees and agreed that the Committee on Committees should continue to make the nominations, but that GPC members were interested in providing input for the Graduate Faculty Council.

The Committee recommended three nominees (Fred Helmstetter, Edward Mabry, and Campbell Tatham) for the Graduate Faculty Council to the Committee on Committees.
