    It was moved, seconded, and approved to suspend the agenda to accommodate the guests.

    VI.A.1.     Michael Weinert of the Physics Department answered questions concerning the new course, Physics 133. It was moved, seconded, and approved unanimously to recommend to the Dean approval of Physics 133 High Points of Physics for Beginners (new; GER-NS).
    VI.D.2. José Lanters was available to answer any questions concerning the proposal to change the requirements of the English Major, Option G. It was moved, seconded, and approved to recommend to the Dean approval of this proposal.
    VI.D.3. Joe Rodriguez was available to answer questions concerning the proposal to change the requirements of the Spanish major. It was moved, seconded, and approved unanimously to recommend to the Dean approval of this proposal.
    VI.A.1. Mark McBride gave a brief summary and answered questions concerning the Biological Sciences Department reorganization of its major and the role of the proposed course changes in that reorganization. It was moved, seconded, and approved unanimously to recommend to the Dean approval of the Bio Sci CAR forms (see list below.)

    It was moved, seconded, and approved to return to the order of the agenda.
