- Update on Degree Requirements Survey - Cam Tatham asked members of the committee to encourage faculty in their departments to fill out the surveys. He stated he would also contact various department chairs asking that they remind their faculty to complete the surveys.

- CAR Form -Terry Nardin gave a brief summary of the reasons for changing Philos/Pol Sci 384. It was moved, seconded and approved to recommend to the Dean approval of the following CAR forms:

- Proposal to Modify the Requirements of the Russian and East European Studies Certificate - It was moved and seconded to recommend to the Dean approval of the proposal to modify the requirements of the Russian and East European Studies Certificate. Connie gave a brief summary of the requirements for the certificate program. The Committee members discussed the fact that the foreign language track is not in line with the Faculty's approval parameters. The previous form of the certificate, which also did not fit the language parameter, was grandfathered in when the parameters were adopted. Members agreed that the changes should be approved with the same exemption. The motion was approved.
- Proposal to Modify the Requirements of the Digital Arts and Culture Certificate - It was moved and seconded to recommend to the Dean approval of the proposal to modify the requirements of the Digital Arts and Culture Certificate. Connie gave a summary concerning the changes in the certificate. Sarah Hoot asked if Digital Arts and Culture is going to become a major. Connie responded that the School of the Arts and L&S have discussed that possibility for the future. Elihu Lubkin expressed his concern that there were no computer programming courses required. The motion was approved.
- Proposal to Modify the Requirements of the JMC Major - It was moved and seconded to recommend to the Dean approval of the proposal to modify the requirements of the JMC major. Connie explained there is a minor change; JMC 552, which is discontinued, is being removed from the list of requirements. The motion was approved.

- Proposal to Modify the Requirements of the Chemistry Minor - It was moved and seconded to recommend to the Dean approval of the proposal to modify the requirements of the Chemistry minor. Connie explained that the routine changes would bring the minor in line with the major. The motion was approved.

- Request for International Designation for Honors Topics - It was moved and seconded to recommend to the Dean approval of the following topics to count toward the International requirement:
