- Proposal for a Policy Defining Student's Eligibility for a Set of Requirements those Requirements Change - The Committee discussed the controversy that arose at the Faculty meeting over the committee's proposal. Jane Nardin presented two revised proposals, separating the issue of requirements to declare a major from the major requirements themselves. After some discussion, members agreed to schedule another meeting in the hope of having a quorum. Jane requested that the chairs, David Pritchard, JMC, and William Maryl, Sociology, be invited to the next meeting to answer questions and express their views. Jane Nardin will draft the four policy options, two for declaring a major and two for completing a major, and ask Erl and Connie to review them before the next meeting.

- Policy on Extraordinary Accommodations - tabled
- The meeting was adjourned at 12:45 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
