- Call to Order - The chair, Robert Jeske, called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m. in Holton Hall 241.
- Automatic Consent
- Approval of Minutes #2, 2001-2002 (November 15, 2001) - There were no objections to the minutes; they stand approved.
- Procedural Matters
- Spring Semester Meeting Schedule - The Committee agreed to meet once a month on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm. beginning in February. Connie will send the meeting schedule to the members of the committee via e-mail.
It was moved, seconded, and approved to suspend the agenda to accommodate the guest.

It was moved and seconded to recommend modifying the requirements of the TESOL Certificate Program. Michael Darnell gave a brief summary of TESOL. He responded to questions from committee members. Members agreed that the proposal needs to clarify that students who took any of the required courses for undergraduate credit must substitute grad-level courses selected in consultation with the certificate coordinator. With this revision to the proposal, the motion was approved unanimously. |
It was moved, seconded, and approved to return to the order of the agenda.
