    It was moved, seconded, and approved to suspend the agenda to accommodate the guest.

    Item VI.A.2.   Professor Holme explained that changes to the Cemistry Major involved deleting a significant number of courses and adding other courses that will improve the curriculum and encourage higher enrollments in the major. It was moved, seconded, and approved to recommend to the Dean approval of the proposed revisions in the Chemistry Major.
    Item VI.A.3. Thomas Holme summarized the changes in course requirements for the Course in Chemistry. He explained, and answered questions concerning, the requirements for accreditation of the Course in Chemistry by the ACS criteria. It was moved, seconded, and approved to recommend to the Dean approval of the revisions in the Course in Chemistry.

    It was moved, seconded, and approved to return to the agenda.

  4. Procedural Matters
