- Call to Order - The Chair, Jane Nardin, called the meeting to order at 11:35 a.m. in HLT 241. A quorum was not present. The full committee will be asked at its next meeting to ratify the actions taken at this meeting.
- Procedural Matter
- Election of Chair for 2002-2003 - tabled
- Automatic Consent
- Minutes #1, October 3, 2001 were approved as submitted.
- Old Business - none
- New Business
- CLEP Policies - The Committee was asked to consider changes in the College's policies on accepting CLEP credits. Members felt that the individual departments should respond on this issue.
- Appeals
- A request to count toward the Arts requirement a course that is not on the approved list was denied.
- A request to count dramatic literature courses in Theatre as advanced L&S credits was approved unanimously.
- An appeal to drop a Chemistry course after the deadline was denied due to the absence of relevant medical confirmation.
- Adjournment - The meeting was adjourned at 12:10 p.m.
