L&S Faculty elect their representatives on the Graduate Faculty Council. The College has been informed that it will lose one position on the GFC, due to a reduction in the size of that body. D. Hoeveler will be on sabbatical for the last year of his GFC term; the following year, he will not be replaced. Nominees for the Graduate Research Committee and the Scholastic Appeals Committee also were requested. There are no L&S vacancies on the Graduate Fellowship Committee for the coming year.Only one nominee was required for the Scholastic Appeals Committee. For the Research Committee, an insufficient number of nominees was available. The nominees identified are listed below, and they have been reported to the Graduate School.
