    4. Other New Business
      1. L&S Approval Matrix: Connie Jo requested the committee members' views on some additional kinds of changes that had been identified. Committee members agreed that the following changes should be reviewed by the C&CC but did not have to go to the L&S Faculty: GER/CD, crosslisting, related courses, L&S degree categories (W-I, International, Seminar, advanced natural science), and assignment of courses to major categories. Members also agreed that the second, third, and last of these items could be handled as Automatic Consent Business. Finally, members agreed that no review of active/inactive status changes was necessary.

      2. Peoplesoft. Connie Jo reported that Peoplesoft cannot handle credit values using the word “or.” This has implications for about 30 courses on campus. One suggestion made was to approve a separate course at each credit value needed.

  7. Adjournment - There was no additional business; the meeting was adjourned at 10:10 a.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Connie Jo
