  4. Procedural Matters
    1. Spring Semester Meeting Schedule - The tentative meeting schedule was discussed. Three meetings had been set for Thursdays to accommodate the Chair's schedule. Jeff Merrick noted, however, that he would be out of town for two of those weeks, so the meetings could be returned to Fridays. Members agreed to the change to Friday if an earlier meeting time could be found. Connie Jo will check schedules with the members and set the final meeting schedule for the Spring semester. Terry Nardin and Jay Beder reported that they will miss the next meeting. Jim Coggins will miss the April meeting. Since Jeff Merrick also will be gone, another member will have to serve as chair for that meeting.

      1. APCC Recommendations on the Committee Interdisciplinary Major - There was some discussion of the APCC recommendations. Jeff Merrick asked the Committee's approval to meet with Connie Jo to review the recommendations and report to the Committee what issues they felt the Committee needed to address. The Committee agreed to this strategy.
      2. Members were asked if they found it workable to look up proposed program changes on the web site. Some members said they would prefer to have paper copies at the meeting if the proposed changes needed discussion. Members agreed they would notify Connie Jo in advance of the meeting if they wanted to discuss a proposal at the meeting.
      3. Jeff Merrick reported that the APCC GER Sub-Committee would be discussing two possible changes to the GERs:
        1. separation of GER and cultural diversity credit;
        2. altering the definition of cultural diversity, perhaps to mulitculturalism.
