- Call to Order - The meeting was called to order by the 2000-2001 chair, Fred Anapol, at 3:03 p. m. in Holton 241.
- Procedural Matters
- Introduction of Members
- Review of Charter - Connie Jo briefly reviewed the Charter.
- Automatic Consent
- Minutes #2, 1998-1999 (April 14, 1999) were approved as submitted.
- Minutes #1, 1999-2000 (February 23, 2000) were approved as submitted.
- Minutes #2, 1999-2000 (April 5; May 1, 2000) were approved as submitted.
- Old Business
- A draft of the Uniform Grievance Procedure was discussed at the L&S Faculty Meeting on November 2, 2000. Connie Jo shared the faculty's comments with the Committee members. The Committee discussed J. Moore's (Psychology) proposed revisions at great length and incorporated some of his changes into their original document. A motion was moved and seconded to adopt a revised version of J. Moore's preamble. The motion was approved. Several more motions were passed as the Committee revised each paragraph of the Uniform Grievance Procedure. The revised document then was moved, seconded and approved. (Subsequently, Connie Jo distributed the revised document via email to the Committee for comment. A minor revision was approved via email vote.)
