  4. Old Business
    1. Bill Kean reported on his meeting with the Dean and representatives of the GPC and the AP concerning the Dean's request for faculty advice on the PAR response to the Vice Chancellor. The Dean recommended that two representatives of each committee be appointed to draft a response that then would be reviewed by all three committees. He suggested that the response focus on what we are doing that is positive rather than what was wrong with PAR Bob Moore distributed a paper he had prepared on problems he saw with the PAR, and he indicated that the Senate's intention to repeat the PAR every few years required that the PAR process be evaluated. The members of the Committee agreed to attach Moore's report to its response to the Dean. Bob Moore and Rachel Skalitzky agreed to serve as the C&CC representatives to the US committee charged with recommending the L&S response.
