How To Get a Personal Home Page

Anyone directly associated with the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (faculty, staff, students) may obtain their own Personal Home Page on our WWW server.

To do this, you must do two things:

obtain an account on one of Information & Media Technologies Division's DEC Alpha computers.
Enter the command:
wwwsetup
at an Alpha command prompt, or if you're using the EZ menu, enter:
!wwwsetup

This command will setup your WWW area and e-mail you information about using it.

After you've setup your page, there are many sources of Web and HTML information to help you start adding to it.
