Departmental Pages

The name "Departmental" is somewhat misleading, as these pages are actually used for most "units" at the University: academic and administrative departments, schools and colleges, centers, etc. Other than the way in which the main UWM pages link to them, we currently make no distinction by "unit" type.

To request a Web area for a new Departmental Page, send an e-mail message to Bill Stapleton (wls@csd) including your department name and an abbreviation to use for the directory/URL name. We can set up Web areas for single users, groups, or under a special "groupsu" account for your department, or add these features for existing Web areas whenever you want.

Student Organization Pages

Student Organizations officially registered with the Student Organizations Advising and Resources (SOAR) office may have web pages and obtain Alpha accounts. There are specific SOAR Web Procedures and Policies which must be followed. Upon approval, Student Organization web pages are linked to from the UWM Student Organizations Pages.
