BIG NEWS -- Website Building Workshop

DACSO is holding our first workshop.
The subject is "Rapid Website Prototyping" using Dreamweaver.
Milo Miller (master of all things computer) will be teaching the workshop.

THIS FRIDAY March 31, from 1-3 pm in Johnston G 23/24

If you would like to attend, do these two things:

• Email your name to dacsoboard@uwm.edu
• Prepare your homework (see details below)

Homework: Please choose a theme for the website that you will build during the workshop. Once you have a theme, please prepare the items listed below based on that theme and bring them with you to the workshop on a Flashdrive or floppy disk. No previous knowledge of Dreamweaver is required.

• 8 Button graphics files which are 75 pixels wide X 25 pixels high (JPEG, GIF, PNG)
• 1 Banner graphic that is 600 pixels X 75/85 pixels
• 1-2 pages of text or graphics (can be anything, just to fill up space)

In case anyone has any questions, I will be posting a step by step guide for resizing graphics files in Photoshop.

Milo has asked that we limit the class to 15 people, so if you are interested please contact me right away so that I can save you a spot.
