MIME-Version: 1.0 (WebTV) I did forget a few things on my first post. Label on case is marked Model #50, President, and wt #2. Took me a while to find that was Heddons designation for dry fly action. Strange but the snakes on the mid section are English pattern and the snakes on both tips are Amer. pattern. If that was 1936 Heddon was probably just switching over. I took dimensions with my 1/2" Starret mic. w/pressure release. All measurement differentals are plus dimensions, and they were always on the spline where the guides are attached. He used this rod for trout, dry fly accuracy and the skish fly event were they had to use a production rod. Workmanship is exceptional. Fritz Wiese
